John Hopkins University selects Kirtas KABIS 700 production book scanner to complement their digitization technology!
Kirtas has enjoyed a strong relationship with Johns Hopkins University. In 2008 the Library selected the Kirtas APT-2400 robotic book scanning system.
Recently, it came time for JHU to upgrade their digitization equipment. The Milton Eisenhower memorial research library again turned to the flexibility, performance, and reliability of Kirtas’ scanning technology.
They again went with the acquisition of a Kirtas system and chose the KABIS 700 semi-automated scanner.
“Our long-standing relationship with Kirtas and its equipment made for an easy process when deciding to upgrade our book scanner…”
