It starts with our customizable "workflow" software that helps move the book all the way through the digitization process from inventory to final output.

Inventory: Our web based database driven solution, allows you to login from anywhere and check on your digitization projects, and generate reports.

MARC records: MARC records can now be added to the metadata file within BSE processing via Z39.50 protocol or from other SQL databases for complete book information included in METS and .xml file.

Pagination and Tagging: New Book View functions allow quick and easy book pagination and "tagging" to the processed book as output .xml metadata. Pagination aligns images with page numbers and takes just seconds, improving navigation within the book.

Automated Tagging: BSE PRO software automates the tagging of images within the book. Select the "Table of Contents" image and the software will link the Chapters, etc. to the specific images. The same can be done for the "Table of Illustrations". When output through Kirtas software to PDF format, the tags become bookmarks in the searchable PDF.
