Kirtas Visits the Windy City for ALA 2009

Kirtas and OCLC, a global online library service and research organization, have signed an agreement that will enable streamlined access to the ever-increasing numbers of digitized books to users of OCLC's WorldCat and Kirtasbooks.com.
McGill University Library and Kirtas have entered into a partnership that will allow students, faculty and the general public to request to have books digitized and made available through the new Digitize on Demand program. "The partnership with Kirtas advances the Library's interest in improving scholarly access to its collections," said Janine Schmidt, Trenholme Director of Libraries at McGill.
